Since I met you......
This is my first attempt to see how this thing works. So here I go. For starters, the name is Shuilyn Florina Mu'a. Many call me Rina. Born in the city of Torrance , CA on July 25, 1983 to my wonderful parents . Falelua Lotu Mu'a of Asau, Savaii and Fiataua Tanuvasa Seiuli of Nofoali'i, Samoa. I love them to pieces and am thankful that they raised me to be the person I am today. I know I was a headache to raise now that I look back on my life, but Heavenly Father couldn't have put me with any other two people in this world. (Great pick of earthly parents). I have two biological sisters, and one biological brother. Rexona , who is married to Kijana 'Taboo' Battle and has a wonderful son , Nathan 'bubs' Eteuati. Raetchel who has two girls Raellie and Kaelyn and then theres my ulu ka'e brother Erin. I have step brothers Lui and Titus also who are in Samoa and Titus in Pennsylvania. I was raised in Compton, and lived in just about every common city in the surrounding areas. Through the years I have been through every relationship possible, and dated quite a few nationalities. However, in the year 2010, I met my sweetheart, Enese Junior Burgess through a mutual friend, Thomas Faaliliu who introduced us. They work together as security guards for Commerce Casino. I am eternally grateful for him because he puts up with my 'female' attitude ALL the time and is so tolerant. He loves me and my family and is a hard worker. I thank God every day that he came into my life at the right timing. We were married and sealed for time and all eternity the 28th day of August 2010. About four months after we met each other. He is so patient with me and I love him for his dedication to the gospel and by letting me be me. So about me........ I graduated from Paramount High School in the year 2001 which seems like yesterday but in reality it has been a journey. Immediately following high school , I enrolled in college and completed some courses and started working from this job to that job, this job to that job.. ya get the drift? My whole life I've been wanting to be a flight attendant, but Heavenly Father had a different path for me. I traveled to and from Samoa many times and in the year 2005, I was one step into getting to be a contestant for Miss Samoa, but I had a different path I had to take. And that , was to serve a mission. I got myself spiritually , physically and mentally prepared because I knew that though return missionaries would say, " It was the best 2 years of my life" .. I knew they weren't telling us the lowest of lows they must have went through on the mission. In my mission papers went, I out I went to serve a full time mission to the beautiful state of Alaska. I returned home and went straight to work and also to backpack in New Zealand and Samoa again. I then met Enese in April 2010 and it is history from there. He completes me in every way. I currently babysity my nieces and try to spend half of my time in Los Angeles with my family and with his family. Enese and I have our own little one bedroom apartment with a high ceiling that I love and quiet neighbors in the city of Garden Grove. My husband has been praying hard for kids but if you ask me, I don't want any (as selfish as that sounds), I just don't want any right now. However, I love them to pieces, but right now we don't have any. In the future for sure. I've never been happier and am so excited for the future with my husband. We plan on travelling the world together. For now, tofa soifua.. Until next time
